Okay, I just wanted to say I've bought this item three times even tho my huge super chewer dogs inevitably destroy it, and here's why: It's NOT a chew toy!
Pretty much *ANY* toy will not survive a strong chewer unless it is made from an indestructible material, and indestructible materials are often dangerous for doggy teeth.
The noises this thing makes entices dogs to be extra violent on it.
The trick is, you need to supervise them with the toy and if they move from chasing/bouncing it to "gnawing furiously" remove it and replace it with a safe treat toy to chew on (like a rawhide or antler, or a kong stuffed with frozen/difficult to remove treats) to satisfy their chewing needs on a safer item. This will extend the life of the toy. This way, the only damage it takes is from them mouthing/throwing it, which is what it is designed to withstand. This method is the only safe way to play with just about any play toy if you have SUPER chewers.
There are many toys out there that will last longer, however, this one makes noise and that is super valuable to enrich your dogs' life. In essence, you're paying (insert current price of this item) to get several hours of SUPERVISED play time out of this toy over the course of several months.
As far as noise makers go, this is only one of two toys I have found to hold up long enough to be worth the price. Go for it.

Low Quality tire thread breaks off, Swallowing Hazard.2017年11月1日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
My dog first was exposed to this toy from a coworker, he played with it for several hours and loved it. The noise level is a little high for me, so I super glued the the speaker holes generously and now I can be in the same room with it. My biggest issue with this toy is the quality, my coworkers toy is at least 2 years old and has been through countless hours of play (several including my dog). The unit I received is virtually identical, but my dog managed to break the small bits of tire tread off and I believe he managed to swallow one before I caught him.
It would be perfect if it had an on/off switch2015年10月7日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
I bought this for a blind springer. The ball makes noises when it moves but becomes quiet when it rolls to a stop; if your dog is quick or lucky, they might find the ball while it's still chirping but if they don't, it's a lost cause. The design makes it easy for the dog to pick the ball up, though I haven't let him chew on it too much because I fear the rubber will rip. My biggest complaint is that there is no on/off switch--even when placed on a shelf or cupboard, small movements like heavy footsteps will set it off, and forget about trying to carry it in the car or backpack when you go to the dog park! In fact, the constant noises were so annoying that I moved the ball into the guest room and don't often use it. An on/off switch or an easy way to disable the battery would really make the ball more useable.
