Great for toddlers

I purchased a 25 pack in rainbow colors for my twin 2 year olds and 6 year old because I felt the standard teaspoons I had were too wide for the little ones, and the toddler spoons I purchased previously had no "bowl" for liquids.

I have had these spoons for a little over 2 months, and we use them daily. They have been through the dishwasher at least 15 times to no obvious ill effect. They are durable and vibrant and the kids love the fun colors. They have a nice bowl for soups and cereal, and I like that I don't need to worry about them burning their mouth on a hot metal spoon.

Included is a comparison picture of a standard teaspoon, this spoon, and a toddler spoon.

Durable, a fantastic replacement for missing spoons!

I purchased these spoons to replace the missing spoons from my kitchen drawer. Fortunately these come in a huge pack because my son has thrown away nearly a fifth of them already thinking they were from the dollar store. They've been chewed on, stepped on, played with in the dirt and let me tell you - these spoons hold up to the wear and tear. I'd buy these again. They are made of a plastic that keeps them from having a hard texture when damaged. They can, however, be broken if you bend them far enough (my young son demonstrated for me). They're the perfect size too - just a bit smaller than an average teaspoon, so they're great for kids (or me.. so I can savor my food). Anyway, I wish you sold forks too!

My dogs get 1-1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin for fiber 3 times a day. When we board them, keeping track of their spoon seems always to be a problem. It's next to impossible to easily find any disposable spoons that are 1-1/2 teaspoons - most are a teaspoon. These are so perfect. I can send a supply of them along and if the boarding facility wants to wash them they can, or they can just recycle or throw them away. I don't have to be concerned that I get "my" spoon back. I absolutely will continue to order these as I need them. They are indeed heavy duty - not flimsy at all. And I did measure the amount they hold and it is definitely 1-1/2 teaspoons. So glad I found these!

*UPDATE* Loved them so much I bought more as a gift of Saturday, because it promised delivery on Monday by 9 pm. FAIL. I get an alert, they just went out today (Monday) and will ("may") deliver on Tuesday. Sorry I told my sister to expect the little treat, sorry Amazon can't be counted on to keep delivery dates -- um, I PAY for that 2nd Day Prime Delivery, it's not a perk -- and I won't be buying from this seller again.

I could write a thesis on this shape of spoon. One reason you like frozen yogurt from shops like Pinkberry and Yogurtland (both closed in my 'hood, boohoo!) is the great mouthfeel of these types of spoons. EVERYTHING tastes better with these! Except soup. (Don't even try.)

Not 100% as fine-edged or wide as those were (and I've saved about 20 of them before I thought to find them online), but fresh colors, dishwasher safe, color doesn't transfer when wet or washing, and they're smoooooooooth!

Now that I've tested a batch of 25 for $9.64, next time I'll buy the smarter value of 100 for $19.99 (if they stay that price.) These are heavyweight, but I could also do with a medium weight, so if you've seen or tried any like that, let me know. Thank you!
