I have purchased cables directly from Apple, countless from Anker, and I’ve tried out many third-party brands along the way. This cable was by far and away the worst I have ever purchased. My two-year-old cable that I purchased to be replaced with this one works better than the brand new one that they sent me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This cable DOES NOT CHARGE unless you don’t move your phone at all. It also doesn’t fit a lot of cases like other brands do. I just did an exchange so I will update if the new cables are better, but as of now, these are GARBAGE!!!!

My wife complained that when she used one of these cables to charge her phone it took “forever.” Tried one recently on my iPad; it stopped charging when the device was at about 75%. Unplugged the cable and tried it again; it would go no higher. Then used a standard Apple cable and finished charging the iPad to 100%. I don’t understand how a shielded piece of wire fails to conduct electricity but that seems to be the case … junk.

This is my first time using lightning to c cables. When my most recent iPhone came with this type of cable, I decided the upgrade was worth it, and bought these so I could use them in bed and for travel (3 ft is never long enough for me). So far, the one I’ve used is holding up beautifully. It hasn’t been that long, but so far, so good.
