Optimum Nutrition is definitely one of the top brands I would recommend if you are looking for whey protein, Pre-Workout, or BCAA.
For BCAA, I decided to go with the Green Tea and Raspberry flavor. You definitely can't go wrong with any of their flavors since they are not super sweet. When researching on their ingredients, they definitely put the right amount of substances to give you the extra kick needed for either before or after workout.
I have been using their products for several years and I would say it does give you the extra boost needed.

Please note that this is not a replacement for coffee/tea/caffeine. This is a product for gym and should not be used as a way to stay awake.

The grape flavor of Amino Energy is my go-to for a morning and afternoon caffeine boost. I am sensitive to caffeine and drink a half serving (one scoop) each time, which provides me with a pleasant energy bump without making me jittery. The flavor is a typical "fake grape" flavor without too much artificial sweetener aftertaste.

In the mornings, I drink one scoop with 8 oz of water and a scoop of protein powder, mixed in a blender bottle. In the afternoons, I drink a scoop stirred into a glass of cold water. The blender bottle definitely works better for mixing, as the fine powder requires quite a bit of stirring in the glass and then leaves a film on the glass that requires a sponge to remove.

The Optimum Nutrition products are more reasonably priced than the competitor products I considered. The plastic containers arrive about half full, which does make me think about the wasted plastic. However, the containers are good reusable storage containers after I empty and wash them and are also recyclable in most communities.

I usually get this from my local vitamin store, but Amazon was cheaper. I was very skeptical when I saw so many reviews with the busted seals on the container. To my pleasure the container was completely intact. No busted seal, nothing spilling out.
This product works good for me. Gives me the extra “boost” I need for a lengthy workout without the bad “drop off”. The strawberry flavor is pretty tasty, just a pinch “chalky” but not much at all. The flavor makes up for that. 5 stars!

So great! The flavor is so good and it does not give me the jitters like some pre workouts tend to do. I typically mix a scoop and a half and dilute it with much more water than it calls for to get a more mild flavor. That’s just my preference. But if you need a burst of energy for the gym this is the way to go.

Have been using this stuff for years and have zero desire to even try anything else. The flavors are all great, you don't crash from it nor do you get that super crazy intense heart rate from it like I have with others in the past. FYI Costco sells this too at a great price but the one flavor is all they have.
