WARNING, THIS BUNDLE INCLUDES DOWN WASH, NOT PERFORMANCE WASH!!! Not reading carefully is no excuse for buying the incorrect product but that is exactly what I did. After deciding that I wanted to treat several GoreTex jackets with the Granger product (as recommended by Patagonia) I decided to buy both the Granger Performance Wash as well as the Performance Repel treatment. When I saw this bundle, I bought it without noticing that the was included is Down Wash and not the Performance product made specifically for breathable fabrics. Now, unless the Granger people are willing to stipulate that Down and Performance are the same product, I have some serious issues with this pairing. That is, the first instinct of any potential customer is that the two Performance products, in a one-two process, would be bundled together.
That the photo used has the two bottles wrapped in plastic assists in the confusion because it obscures the "Down" somewhat. In fact, I did not notice the "Down" when I removed the bundle from the Amazon box. It was only when I just separated them that my error became obvious.
So while the Performance products are likely worth a 4 or 5-star rating, I am giving this bundling of the two unrelated products 2-stars as a warning to other potential buyers who might be confused as I was. If you want Down Wash and Performance Repel, then buy this bundle. But if you are looking for Performance Wash and Repel, look at the individual bottles offered.
