Introducing a Legacy boot designed specifically for Women. The XTRATUF® Women's Legacy features the exact same non-marking, slip-resistant Chevron outsole as the classic, but specifically designed on a women's last for better fit and all-day comfort. Xtratuf has introduced new prints on the boot liner to a pop of color when the boots are rolled down.

These Xtratufs fit the bill very nicely. They're lightweight, absolutely leak-proof, have excellent traction, and the cute printed liner gives me the option to turn the tops down if weather permits and the whim strikes.
What these boots are not: particularly attractive. They also aren't a snow boot, though with warm socks they'd be tolerable darting from the house to the car and running quick errands in all but the coldest weather.
They run pretty true to size, and my pair is perhaps just a little on the small side if I had to decide, though they still fit.
I'm happy with this purchase and giving four stars mainly for the higher price; they're great boots but $90-150 for any rubber boot (looking at you, too, Hunter) is steep. Still, I value dry, comfortable feet, and would buy these again.
My biggest concerns with the fit of this boot prior to trying: 1) I have very high arches 2) wide at ball of the foot and narrow at the heel 3) I have larger calves. Happy to say, none of the three were a problem with this boot. I usually wear a 7, sized up to an 8 for use with a thick wool sock and the fit is great. They are lighter and more flexible than the Baffins, but those were insulated, so understandably heavier. I can wear these comfortably folded down or completely extended. I put my own footbed to support my high arches, but others may feel fine with the included footbed. I will see how they wear long term, but I’m hopeful!
The boots are soft and flexible, there is a nice little bit of cushion in the sole, not like other brands/types of rain boots. These feel like they are made to last. Since I've gone through 5 pair of rain boots in 6 years, I'm really looking for longevity and comfort. I'll update after a few months or so. **Their packaging specifically (and the boots, a little) do have a rubber smell so if you're sensitive to chemical scents, toss the box and wrapping fast and let the boots off gas for a day outside, in the sun if possible. I have MCS and once I got rid of the box and plastic it came in, I was fine. The boots are sitting inside by the door and the smell has not bothered me.
