I use Rim on my Napoleon grill, stove top, oven exhaust hood, refrigerator front, microwave, air fryer, etc.
Although prep is super important, as the surfaces need to be very clean and oil free, it coats easily and applies without issue. I always double or triple coat. I coat, level, remove excess, wait an hour, and repeat.
Through experience I have noted that a full cure for shine and slickness seems to take about a week. It can be used after 12 -24 hours.
It is especially useful to add the third coat onto the stainless steel catch pans under grills and grill side burners and under oven exhaust hoods! Once cured burnt grease and crud simply washes off with hot water.
I have been applying and working with coatings for several years and when high temperatures are involved this is the best I have yet encountered. Works on painted and metal surfaces super well. Once cured it cleans with just hot water and flow or a soft sponge and a couple drips of Dawn or similar.
I have yet to wear this coating off of anything yet. Even on my grill which regularly exceeds 550 degrees F (300C) and lives outdoors in midwestern weather. Guessing that in most interior cases it should last 3 to 10 years depending on physical abuse.
