Ceramic WET is Finish Line’s most advanced and most effective racing lubricant. This wet-style full synthetic lubricant is enhanced with a nano-sized platelets of boron nitride and micron particles of fluoropolymer. As Ceramic WET builds it’s ceramic coating on the frictional surfaces of a drivetrain, cyclists will feel the smoothness and appreciate the added quietness. Ceramic WET ensures maximum drivetrain efficiency. Ceramic WET’s extreme durability, amazing smoothness and ultimate quietness will exceed the expectations of most cyclists! Ceramic WET is a full water-proof lubricant, so it can be used in all disciplines: Mountain bike, cyclo-cross, road and track racing. Application tips: Apply generously to clean chain (Degrease, rinse with water and then dry.) Work in, wipe excess. Reapply after 1st ride to complete ceramic coating process. NOTE: The white ceramic particles may turn grey or black over time. This discoloration is normal and will not compromise performance. After several applications this will lessen.
After years using those overpriced Muc-Off products I've decided to give a try on this Finish line Ceramic chain lube, and being very honest, I believe this is a much better lube. It stays on the chain/gears even in rainy condition. Also while Muc-Off leaves a residue hard to remove from the drivetrain, this Finish line can be cleaned much easily with any degrease product. I also use the FL WAX CERAMIC which it is even better in dry condition.
I think this stuff works well. Honestly, I see very little practical difference among wet chain lubes. Every one I've ever used has prevented squeaking and rust. However, there is one property that does tend to vary product to product, and that is viscosity. Too thin and it drips off your chain. Too thick and it doesn't "sink" into the links properly. This is where Finish Line's product excels. It sits right in the sweet spot. Soaks in nicely but doesn't drip out. After a quick wash, lube and wipe, my chains always look great. Would definitely buy again.
***My Rating Criteria*** 5 STARS: Works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect when purchasing this type of product, good value, ships in retail packaging 4 STARS: Works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect when purchasing this type of product, might have a minor flaw or ships in undisclosed non-retail packaging 3 STARS: Generally works but I'd change a few things OR Product works great but differs from description/images 2 STARS: Barely works but can be made useful if you try 1 STAR: Useless, does not perform it's intended function whatsoever and is generally a waste of money

I've been cycling for years and tried many different lubes. This is by far my favorite. It goes on easily, and after drying forms a sticky film that lasts a very long time.
I guess it picks up some dirt and dust, but I've honestly never had a lube that doesn't. If an oily wet lube is wet enough to work, it is wet enough to absorb dirt. Dry lubes just leaves waxy crud on everything and never seems to lubricate well enough. This slightly tacky lube seems to be less messy than either an oily wet lube or a cruddy dry lube, but it lasts way, way longer. I can actually wipe clean the side plates and outer surfaces of a chain several times while the inside surfaces still seem sticky and well lubricated.
One thing to note is that this lube needs to dry in order to be at it's best. I try to apply it and then let it sit a while before a ride. After the carrier fluid evaporates, I lightly wipe any excess off the chain. If I must apply it right before a ride I just wipe the excess after I am done riding. It's pretty obvious when the lube is dry because it changes from watery to a sticky film. By cleaning off excess lube it helps minimize dirt build up, while still providing very good, and very long lasting lubrication.
I've tried a lots of lube before this one. This Finish Line Ceramic really stood out as superior and is the only thing I buy anymore.
After experimenting with several types and brands of chain lube, I'm sticking with this for my mountain bike. It maintains good lubrication in the wet and muddy conditions common to the mountains of western NC. Even after hours in mud and rain and multiple stream crossings my chain is quiet and shifting smooth. While good initially, its performance improves after a few applications as it bonds with chain - during this process you'll notice the chain looks dirty and terrible; the chain will start to turn black, but returns to a normal appearance after couple cleanings and re-applications of this lube.
While I love this stuff for mountain biking in wet conditions, it's not perfect for everything. In dry conditions it attracts a lot of dirt. Dust will stick to the outside of the chain, but it actually rinses or wipes off very easily onto a rag (and onto your leg). Because it attracts so much dirt and grime, I stopped using it on my road bike and switched to
Pro Gold Products ProGold ProLink Chain Lube
. Due to the way the Finish Line Ceramic bonds to the chain, it took many cleanings and applications ProLink to remove all the residue of the Finish Line Ceramic. So once you use this, I recommend sticking with it for the life of the chain.
USE: I run my chain through a cleaner with citrus degreaser after about 3-5 rides, then run it through a shop rag and let it dry thoroughly. I then apply the lube, run the chain through all the gears, wipe the excess off the rings and gears and let it sit for an hour so and then remove the excess from the chain. In between cleanings, I lightly grasp the sides of the chain in shop rag and most dirt comes right off.
I have ridden the same bike to an Amazon facility in Coppell, TX for about 2 years now. My bike stays outside. The pedal just broke off, The cables are rusted, the wheels wobble. Adam Sandler has a piece of s#!t car...I have a piece of s#!t bike. Well when I figured it was done for I put some of this on it, and it made a world of difference. Don't get me wrong, I need a new bike (I'm poor), but this stuff helped tremendously.
