Some definite issues

I like it..............but that doesn't mean there aren't a few issues. The biggest one that I see is that the "main pocket" of the purse has 2 zipper tabs, but only one "clasp", and that clasp is almost impossible to use. It's wedged into a fabric loop and I can barely open it without my husband's help, because it's so tightly wedged intside the fabric loop. I've attached a picture that shows the clasp, fabric loop and the 2 zipper tabs. You can't possibly get the 2nd zipper tab clipped into the clasp, and it's the 2nd zipper tab that would keep the purse "locked" from theft! If I WERE able to stuff the 2nd zipper tab into the clasp, it would put all the weight of the purse onto the clasp/zipper tab and not the strap (which couldn't be good for the clasp or zipper).

Otherwise, the RFID pocket is nice and roomy and I like having the extra pockets on the inside of the purse. I first bought the CS200 purse but returned it because it was HUGE, this one is a nice size. I hope it will work well for an upcoming trip, but I am worried about the zipper tab/clasp issue that I wrote about above.

Good Bag Overall

Pros: Good size, the pockets were a good size and nicely placed for organizing. I had slim glasses case, point and shoot camera and extra battery, small tin of mints, compact sanitizer gel, 1 oz bottle of lotion, iphone, lipstick, eye makeup, keys, brochures, and maps. Love the brightly colored interior, makes it so easy to find things. Never feared pick pockets while riding public transportation or in crowded environments, such as at the local attractions or parades. Love how the outside pocket can be secure, but yet easy to access without have to fumble with clips and locks. The outside pockets are good to hold small unimportant items, like a compact water bottle. Of course, I love the mesh idea and the band running through the strap, really prevents cut and runs. Quality make over all.

Cons: Not very stylish, but enough to get by. Depending on the environment you're in or event you're attending, you may feel like the grandmother with the practical purse. Not sure if the RFID is as secure as they say, when I put my phone in it it still rang. Could not find more information as how to test RFID security. Do not like the zipper, found it rather large and clunky for the size of purse, but at the same time I could not complain it was not durable. Also, the zipper is a two way, can zip both ways. Not sure why they did is when the securing method is on one side only. I found no practical use for the 2way zip on such a small bag and because of the 2way found myself zipping the wrong way to lock and secure the bag. Do not like the locking zip clip on this bag. Very difficult to use. My other other bag is much easier. I am able to remove the clip from the placement "band" (so the clip doesn't flap about as it were) and easily lock clip the zip. It was still very secure and hard to manipulate for thieves. This bag I could not remove the lock clip from the placement band and really had to manipulate it, really making you look stupid as you fumble with it in line, drawing a lot of attention, rather than being seamless and discreet. I have no idea how someone with arthritis would be able to manage. At least they have some hope with my other, different style, but older model Pacsafe Bag, which has unfortunately been discontinued. I have no idea why as that model was very stylish.

Overall I like the bag, but will not use it much unless traveling because it's not very stylish. I use my other PacSafe bag quite often to travel around town. Unfortunately, that bag is not as big as this bag. I bought this bag for a trip I was taking.

Good bag for traveling with peace of mind!

I purchased this bag to use as a day-bag for my 2 month backpacking trip across Europe. I'm the "better safe than sorry" type when it comes to pickpockets and thieves in foreign cities, so while I expect to be safe, I wanted a bag that I wouldn't have to be paranoid about. This definitely delivers! I'm giving it a test run while away for a weak, and it fits a ton of stuff with many secure zipper compartments that make keeping everything in my bag very organized!

I was worried about the strap hurting (not much padding there and it's very skinny and stiff) after a bit of wear, but my shoulders are fine so far. Though I'll update on that after my longer trip.

Definitely not too fashionable, but it won't stand out in a crowd, and the zippers are all lockable so I'd be shocked if a pickpocket finds any success with one of these!

Well made but too heavy.

This is a very well made bag and I am sure it will do what it was made to do. I like how it looks clean without frills and doesn't stand out.
But I gave it 3 stars because it is too heavy and bulky for me. Once I started putting my stuff into the bag, it almost felt like I was carrying around a bag of rocks. And I don't feel like I am carrying too much: my wallet, coin purse, pen, a small paper notepad, some tissue and keys. I think this is unfortunately due to the extra safety features like the exomesh padding and the anti slash material in the strap. The strap itself is really heavy too and so it really bothers me because I feel like it digs into my shoulders. In the pictures it looked more flat and I didn't see too many people saying that it was heavy. Please take note that the description does say 13.3 oz. I didn't think it was going to be this heavy though. Maybe it's because I don't work out?

In the end, if there is a violent thief that really wants to take my money and can't get into my purse, they will get my purse by other means, even if it means taking a life. But if I don't come across such an aggressive and violent thief, I think this purse would do the job of deterring pickpockets. I could possibly use the purse as a weapon if I swing it...
