This was purchased for another but it runs extremely small. If you are looking for a girdle which binds you and make it extremely uncomfortable to move then buy one size larger. In a larger size it will hold you snug and shapely. The material seems to stretch with you and not against to make you cumbersome and painful.

No compression at all, too much money for long shorts. This is no girdle, not worth looking at, and a waste of money. Do you what to do the same?

Actually it wasnt that it was too large. It's jus that I was so use to most of these types of items running small that over compensated by ordering 2x I re-ordered the xL. I am going for the L next time. I really like the product. It is lightweight and very comfortable.
