I was quite disappointed with this purchase as the title of the book led me to believe that it was reworkings of songs by The Beatle for acoustic guitar, essentially it is some of their songs that can be played on the guitar
Some music books give the accurate guitar tabular notations which in reality because of the various other instruments or post production mean that when you play it on your solo acoustic guitar it sounds nothing like the song, whereas other books take this into account and playing the songs gives an immense feeling of satisfaction
Of course I have only myself to blame as it clearly states on the cover that these are RECORDED VERSIONS and not acoustic interpretations
Any song played on the acoustic guitar is by definition the acoustic version, though it seems somewhat disingenuous to entitle the book that given that a considerable number of the songs also have electric guitars and pianos etc
