I really liked this light... at first. Then after a few months it stopped working.
Well to clarify, it would turn off, and then at the end of my 10 minute commute, it would be off. After the first few times, I thought maybe it was a battery issue, but even after being fully charged it would do this.
Yeah.. so... not so safe to not have your back light working on busy urban streets.. especially when you think it IS WORKING!
I let Blitzu know and they said they would be happy to replace it as it fell under warranty... BUT I had to not only SHIP the broken one back to them, but also PAY TO SHIP IT BACK MYSELF... uh what? Seems like a great way to not have to back up your warranty. I mean seriously, who makes you send back a product like this. I mean if it was a smart phone, or something that actually cost money... I think most manufacturers would eat the price of shipping so they could refurb it. but for a <$20 light. It just seems like poor taste.
Plus who's to say that now that I've paid and taken the time to ship it back, that the USPS will actually get it to you AND get me my replacement. No thank you. I'll go someplace else to buy a light.
