This is a well made and functional pen case. The case has a smooth leather feel to it. The craftmanship and stitching are well done and it has a clean look. I store my Mont Blanc Classique rollerball and Le Grande fountain pen in this case and it fits them well. There was a question regarding a Mont Blanc 149. My La Grande is a little smaller than a 149 and as the photos show it fits the La Grande well. I think this case would store two Mont Blanc 149 pens with no problem although the top of the pens would be a little above the edge of the case. The flap should stay closed and protective with two 149 pens stored in it.

This is a great pen case, and a great value. I have been very pleased with the simple one pen holders by DiLoro because they protect the pen from scratches and dings in transport while in a briefcase or backpack. This pen case is a step up from that. While not a true hard case, it is made of firm leather with two individual silos, each holding one pen, and giving the pens excellent protection. It's a great value for the money, very attractive, easy to open and close, and very practical. I highly recommend this case if you transport your high quality pens and don't want to damage them in transit.

For transport in luggage where the pens may be subject to severe impacts, such as in airline luggage, there is no substitute for a hard case. I use a case like the DiLoro, wrapped in cloth, and then stored inside a plastic container like the ones made by Rubbermaid.

The case is made in Italy and has a very nice supple leather, a clean line design and perfect stitching. It has room for me to carry a large pen from Karas Pens in AZ and those are hefty in size and a fountain pen with a wide barrel. The case also has leather in between the pens to prevent scratches. This pen case by DiLoro would make a nice gift for a pen lover. I got the red which is not cheery red, and not dark wine, but more like a garnet color. That helps me find the case easily inside my cases or purse. Comes in nice gift box. This is not a Montbkanc case but those start around $160! This is a very nice case and looks quite expensive. I appreciate the many helpful reviews submitted on Amazon! Hope this review was useful for you.

The leather feels very nice! It has more of a smooth leather look rather than a pebbled leather look. The end of the flap that leads into the loop feels very sturdy! I took these photos under an LED IKEA lamp (desk photos) and daylight so you can get an idea of the color to determine if you’ll like it. The purple is more of a cool toned purple and doesn’t have a neon or acidic undertone.

The pens I have in the case (for size reference) is the Platinum Century #3776 and Conklin Duragraph. It was easy to take the pens out but didn’t feel like they were going to slide out.

If I don’t update this review ever it’s because it was nice and durable.

This is a really supple leather pen pouch with plenty of room to hold both a Pilot 823 and a Pilot 912, and bigger pens may be accommodated. The leather is soft both inside and out and the whole product light in weight. The stitching is tight with no sign of loose ends and appears that it will be durable. A vane of leather extends downward to separate pens from touching. Overall a very nice product and a great value for the money - I will be buying more.
