It's obviously meant for children and costumes. It is pretty flimsy but it looks really nice. The stock photo is what you get. I have added my own photos to show you how it looks with the Master Sword (and the 3DS is there for scaling purposes).
As an avid collector of Nintendo and Legend of Zelda merchandise, I am very pleased with my purchase. Definitely something to hang on your wall but you will need to be crafty about it as there are no hooks or attachments for mounting.
A child could wear this like a backpack but not an adult. On that note, if you see my attached photo, you will see that there is no handle or grip on the back side.

We were slightly disappointed in the straps, on the shield, aren't quiet long enough, and we tried, to wear on kids backs like Link does in Zelda. That is for sure something this company should have thought of when they made it.
The other thing that I was slightly disappointed in was the thickness of the shield. We got the sword first, and even though it is plastic, it is thicker. I expected the same quality but this is much, much thinner.
Overall we were super happy with our purchase choice.

If they could find a better way to affix the straps to the shield I would say it would be worth the purchase (my child loves it, even with only one working strap)... it’s just the darn straps.
