I have a Klipsch R-10SW which I love. Jamo is part of the same parent company as Klipsch. This Jamo J10 SUB appears to be the exact same speaker as the aforementioned Klipsch, with the exception of the woofer driver itself. The cabinet and finish, port and tube, amd plate amplifier all appear exactly the same, rebranded as Jamo. But I think the Jamo version sounds pretty awful. While the Klipsch has tight, punchy, impactful bass and is devoid of muddy spill into the midbass frequencies, the Jamo lacks the punch, the vibrant timbre and the articulation present in the Klipsch version, and no matter how low you set the crossover frequency, the midbass is a swampy mess of mud. I have a cheap off-brand Insignia paper-cone subwoofer that came with a low end home theater in a box system in a spare room, and it sounds notably more musical and impactful.

Probably the best med budget subwoofer. Compared to the klipsch and other 10 inch subs. Crisp, tight and subtle. Very unassuming and not at all jarring.
