It's not as functional since the kitty moves and cannot use with one hand, but if you want, you could use a hot glue on the bottom of the dispenser and place it on another heavy platform. The kitty's right arm detaches so that you can change the tape as shown on the photo.

Oh my gosh, what’s not to love? This cat tape dispenser looks adorable & it’s as useful as my old ugly state-issued grey one that I tossed in an empty drawer today. Like the matching cat Post-It dispenser I got on Amazon, the tape dispenser is just as cute, just as well made, and just as functional. I can’t believe I got this for 6 bucks as an add-on. It was a hit in my office with my co-workers, and brightens up my desk and my day. Plus, I used it a lot today (needed tape to seal thank-you notes) and it’s weighted enough to be stable and the serrated blade was sharp. I’m adding the photo of the Post-It holder so you can see how adorable they are together. Super happy with my purchase! And since I use Smile Amazon & my charity is the local animal shelter, I can help real kittens and cats with my silly office purchases :) How great is that?
