Every year I purchase assorted pumpkins for our front porch and they are either eaten by deer or freeze in the snow, then fall apart before our Thanksgiving meal. This year I purchased 2 tall and 1 squatty Desert Steel Great Pumpkin Lanterns and couldn't be more pleased. They make a beautiful Fall statement and will last forever. I purchased a set of 3-outdoor candles with timers to make it easy to turn on/off. The candles are under the pumpkins which would have to be lifted up to turn them on if they didn't have timers. I will get a complimentary set of pumpkins for the other side of the porch next year and might mix it up with the off-white ones! These pumpkins are available through a variety of vendors but I chose Amazon because shipping was free with Prime and they arrived right away.

Prefer when they come in one piece

My 2nd desert steel pumpkin. This came in two pieces and had to connect and screw together.Had difficulty lining up the holes then tightening screw. Don't seem the 2 pieces aligned smoothly. Trying to put in screws and holding pieces together caused my tool to slip and thus scratches the finish. My other tall Desert Steel pumpkin came in one whole piece and just needed the stem inserted and tabs folded in. Much easier this way and no scratches without need for a tool. Was considering returning this squatty pumpkin due to P.I.A assembly.
Another star off since it didn't arrive as stated.

We have loved the desert steel pumpkins and gourds. The quality of the product is great and they work well with LED pumpkin lights to illuminate them at night. I live a the coast so I’m keeping my fingers crossed related to durability over time some corrosion is such a problem. They are definitely a 5 star product.

I bought the tall white 18” and the squatty 15” “orange “ both are very nice
Based off other reviews on another site, I bought the
Xl 24” in “orange “ on another site. Overall I would recommend
Finally got the xl orange one, this one is more
I haven’t received my 24” yet
