This variety of Mom's is almost impossible to find retail, which is a shame as it is an awarding winning sauce (literally). It was on clearance at a local grocery store so I bought just to have on hand. Wow it is the best bottled sauce I have ever had. I did mix it with a jar of Garlic Marinara from Mom's because I thought I had two but didn't. It is not very spicy where children wouldn't eat it and it isn't super sweet. Looked all over town for it to no avail. Amazon stocked it for the same price as the store so why not a six pack!

I seriously love this sauce. When you open the jar, you can see the ingredients, it isn't just a tomato puree. It looks much more like homemade than anything I have ever seen come out of a jar. I recommend adding a bit of red pepper flakes to it to enhance the spicy nature of the arrabbiata but that's coming from an inveterate spice-head, give it a taste before you jump right to that. Once you eat some of this, you won't be able to stomach the idea of Prego again.

I love Mom's Pasta Sauce and think it's just about the best Jarred sauce I've ever had. I've had the whole garlic and basil, primavera, arrabbiata, and garlic marinara. I would rate all of them a 4-star. The reason that I'm giving the artichoke heart and Asiago sauce one star is because I've ordered it twice and never gotten it. I always got a different sauce, the first time the primavera and this time the garlic marinara. Also with this last order one of the jars was broken in the Box. I have to say that both times Amazon has been great about promptly refunding my money. So, this review is really more to warn people not to order the artichoke heart sauce, but any of the others are delicious.

Definitely spicy; no need to add anything; it's good on its own. Surprisingly good for a jarred pasta sauce.

I can't find this brand in stores, and I tried it once when my usual order of Barilla's pasta sauce was unavailable. Glad I did; it's very spicy so I don't need to add any of my own -- not even salt and pepper. Just boil the pasta and put a VERY SMALL AMOUNT on top. Reminds me of a "hot" salsa; you don't have to use as much to get the desired effect.
