Seriously, I actually thought I was ordering the PUNCH in the picture. So I don’t read very well.
Anyway, since I now have the sheets of paper, I thought I would take a moment to give some feedback. If you are into textiles you will love this paper. It’s made with woven (grass? Straw?), so it’s not a print. The fibers are glued onto a piece of paper. I tried pealing it off thinking it was a sticker backing…it isn’t. It is paper not the waxy plastic sticker backing.
I honestly don’t have a punch that I would try cutting this paper with, so I can’t answer how well it cuts. However, with the backing, I think the edges will stay nice and crisp rather than splitting/fraying. Note – it isn’t double sided, so you would want to use it for a project you don’t need to see the back. The sheets are about the thickness of cardstock, and the size of an average greeting card. The package is 8 sheets total. The three flowers on the left actually show the texture pretty well, if you look at the top layer of the punched flowers. Anyway I think it’s a better representation of the patterns and texture.
I wish I could pass on having to give stars, because I didn’t actually want the paper, I wanted the punch in the picture. But, there isn’t anything wrong with the paper; I don’t feel like it’s misrepresented so I’m giving it 5 stars. I think this would be great for anything you would want a burlap type "fabric" to use with your punch. Honestly, it reminds me of wicker placemats. Fall projects maybe?
