Its 2016 folks and digital is King.
The Fujichrome Provia 100F Slide Film is the only slide film that I can find where I live (Chicago suburbs) and I have a 28 mile round trip to get it.
Its only sold at a few mom & pop type camera stores. None of the department stores or grocery stores carry film anymore....
I've been using about 6 rolls a year now for about two years.
I had been using Kodak Ektachrome exclusively for over 20 years but its not made anymore.
The Provia 100F seem to be pretty decent. Colors seem sharp. Low light photo's come out dark unless I use a tripod and and a lower shutter speed and large aperture. I acquired a real nice Canon new F-1 about a month ago and have shot off 6 rolls on a trip to Ohio & Pennsylvania.
Developing is about $11.00 per roll
