My Favorite Morning Coffee Cups - Your Mileage May Vary

I'll give these a 4 star rating, but your priorities might differ:

PROS:
- Love the 12 oz size for coffee at my desk in the morning - keeps the coffee hotter than a ceramic mug and doesn't have a handle which I never use anyway or a lid that I HATE drinking through.
- Not top heavy like so many travel cups that are designed to squeeze into auto cup holders, so it's really stable.
- Just a good, solid feeling, product that you can get with your logo of choice. These are my favorite coffee cups.

CONS:
- Don't expect this model to be a lidded travel cup - it's NOT.
- I've owned 4 of these over the years and one has separated at the top seam, and the others slowly become permanently stained/hazed by coffee to the point that they are pretty ugly. Tervis says you can return these for a free replacement, but it's never been worth the effort to me. I just plunk down another few bucks every 3 years or so and get a brand new one. I doubt that it's much more expensive than shipping the old one back under warranty. Since I use these EVERY day (and always with coffee), it doesn't seem like such a bad lifespan.

First of all, these tumblers are great because they are tough and insulating so they keep your drink cold without ruining the coffee table, and no worrying about dropping it and getting shards of glass everywhere by the pool where kids are running around barefoot. I specifically love this ECU tumbler because one day I looked in my kitchen cupboard and realized there was a problem: my husband’s NC State tumbler was staring me in the face with no ECU tumbler to bring balance to the force. So of course, I had to jump on Amazon and fix that real quick. Two days later, the natural order was restored, with the ECU Pirates cup in the front of the cabinet. Go Pirates!

My girlfriend went to LMU for graduate school, and so she's had one of these cups for several years now. I accidentally dropped it and it cracked, so I told her I'd try and find a cool replacement.

Lo and behold, I was able to find the exact same cup, so I bought two!

They're well made, hold a good amount of liquid, and even seem to insulate heat/cold well, at least for about 30 - 40 minutes. Plus they don't seem to ever develop condensation on the outside of the cup, no matter how cold the beverage inside is.

I have bought several Tervis holiday glasses to give as gifts. I plan on filling with candy, small toiletries, or socks. I send a lot of packages off to active duty military women and men. I'm looking forward to packing these up in a cute way and sending them off. I think they will really be appreciated for the thought and quality!

Great buy, great design, and the greatest college Team as well. But the cup is very durable and works as expected. My only complaint is the logo is shifted a bit from center, but it's barely noticeable!
