The comprehensive and thorough examination of a tennis ace's career but did notice a number of inaccuracies. On page 86 It was claimed in Oct. 2005 Murray became only the fourth British male to achieve a top 100 ranking since 1995, which is actually INCORRECT. Murray became the sixth British male to achieve a top 100 ranking after Jeremy Bates, Mark Petchey, Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski and Martin Lee. On page 104 It was claimed ahead of the 2006 SAP Open final in San Jose between Murray and Lleyton Hewitt , the Australian had not won a title since 2003, which is actually INCORRECT. Hewitt won four titles in 2004, Sydney, Rotterdam, Washington, Long Island and in 2005 had also added Sydney to his tournament resume. On page 178 It was claimed Rafael Nadal defeated Murray in Slam semi-finals in three sets at the All England Club in 2010 and by the same scoreline at the French Open in 2011, which is actually INCORRECT. Nadal defeated Murray 64 76(6) 64 at Wimbledon in 2010 and he defeated Murray 64 75 64 at the French Open the following year. On page 191 It was claimed Ivan Lendl dominated tennis in the 1980s and for 11 years in a row reached at least one Slam final including eight in a row, which is actually INCORRECT. Lendl reached only three Slam finals in a row, 1986. His eight US Open final round appearances were achieved over eight seasons.
