This Phone Is Great. I Should Have Gotten This A Long Time Ago.

Hmm I guess I put the whole review into the title. Well that sums it up, it;s trim and thin and reasonably fast. I took it out of the box, put the SIM from the phone it was replacing, and in a couple of minutes I was taking and receiving calls. As information, I'm in California and I'm using T-Mobile.

My only disclaimer is that personally I like small phones. I measure this phone at about 5 1/4" by 2 1/2". Great hand size. If you are of the Bigger Is Better camp, I respect that but this phone is not a humongous Samsung.

So if you like a not-huge, efficiently-designed, very thin, pretty phone, this is the one for you. Yes it's a few generations back from current, but so am I.

Truely an impressive cell phone. Its fast, responsive, and a great smartphone to use. This has been a huge step up in terms of technology and ease of use for me. This is me coming from Samsung Galaxy Ace, several versions of my phones of choice the Motorolas and Nokias. I am loving learning more and more just what my htc one is capable of doing. My one issue with this phone is its battery drain. I am usually online during my day and there is a significant battery drain as a result, I have done some research and have turned off several features that I do not usually use and have invested in the i-Blason external battery pack and protective case and now I view my phone as being golden; beautiful to look at, meeting and exceeding my needs and expectations !!!

Nothing is more beautiful and elegant than this phone. I had this phone for 4 years now and I had to buy a new one due to water damage and self stupidity. I have some opinions on this phone as well as comments. Again, this is only MY opinion. You should consider this phone at your own risks.

Pros:

1.) By far the best phone on the market even topping its younger brothers M8 and M9.
2.) Front facing camera is amazing and has a beautiful quality.
3.) Easy on the hand.

Cons:

1.) Unibody design. Meaning you can't take the battery out therefore if you manage to drop it in water, you are pretty much done for.
2.) NO SD CARD SLOT. Look, 32 gig IS a large memory but some people want that extra umph. especially for photographers and people who make tons of videos.
3.) Battery life. The battery could be bigger especially for a new HTC one it will last you 2 days of usage but as time goes on, you will have to charge this phone twice a day.
4.) Camera. At night, the back camera is useless. It will show a purple tint when there is not enough light reflecting through the lenses.

Delivery:
I paid extra to get this phone shipped to me as fast as possible but the phone never got here 3 days after it said was suppose to arrive.
The box was already opened but the phone LOOKS new so I am going to just assume this is a new phone.
The phone came with everything said in the description and it worked for my simcard which is AT&T.
The description title says this phone is unlocked but I haven't tried it with a different simcard YET. And one sketchy thing about the "unlocked" description is that the receipt I got with the package says that the phone is for AT&T only.

Summary:
This truly is an amazing phone. There are small minor things that makes this imperfect but hey, I can't complain. I have a phone. If you are getting one, make sure to do your research.

I bought this phone a little over 6 months ago and I love the phone! This is one of the best phones that came out last year and I'm a fan of HTC. However, I am not a fan of this seller and that's why I am rating this 3 stars and not 5. I first had an issue about 3 weeks after I purchased the phone. I had my phone plugged into the charger. I assumed it was my charger but I tried several others and the phone was not charging. Eventually it died and I had a phone that was basically useless and would not turn on.

A few days later it started to charge again and everything was fine until yesterday. I had 14% battery so I plugged my phone into the charger. Again, the same issue as last time. It would not charge. I took the phone into a repair shop to see what the issue is and they told me it is most likely the charging port inside the phone. This is extremely annoying because now I have no working phone (again) and I have to send it back to HTC.

Not unlocked, screen defective

They completely mis-represented the product.

1. It was not unlocked.
2. It was the locked AT&T branded version, with all of AT&T's bloatware pre-installed.
3. Several sections of the touch-screen seem to be defective, because they don't register touches. Attempting to swype through these areas completely screws up input.
