I was looking for an inexpensive, small bag to hold a couple of rangefinder film cameras (ancient Leicas or early Canons) or an early film Nikkormat with a phone, some film and a notebook (the paper and pencil kind) without shouting "There are cameras in here - steal me" or "Keep an eye on me, I'm going to be taking your picture."
This fills the bill - the padding is pretty thin, but this stuff isn't all that fragile. I removed the single Tamrac badge and will likely either remove the Velcro or cover it up. I could do without the little orange flashy bits, and the strap is a little minimal, but my gear isn't that heavy (and I was going for inexpensive). I started out with four stars, but all in all, with its limitations, it's still all that I could ask for at this price point.
I bought this bag for its weight and its price, and on those accounts it has met my expectations. It is perfect for my X-T10 with its 18-55mm lens and hood attached, batteries, extra lens (Helios), Meike flash unit, 2 screw on filters, and cleaning implements. The pocket in the back can accommodate a small travel book or my nexus tab. The side mesh pockets are kinda small and I haven't had to put anything bulky in those, but a reviewer from a dpreview forum said he's kept water bottles in them. Not stylish at all and definitely looks like a camera bag, but hey, 12 bucks and change.
Perfect size for Sony A6400 kit. Flap has a buckle AND Velcro closure. Can be set up into a large and small comportment or into three small ones. Bright interior makes it easy to see.
