Shipped and received quickly. Item as described. Looking for specific wavelegnth for safety purposes because the description is bland but I paid for it anyway. Waiting to test. Will shine a 1w laser through them and use a camera to see if even any IR gets through them. The 1w laser comes with its own protective eye wear so I will use those for when I test to be safe. I need to guarantee this product is effective before letting guests use it for protection. I would hate to rely on this bland description and cause a buddy to go blind. "Works with red and green lasers" doesnt quite cut it for me but they were cheap so I will do everyone a favor and check these out and post back within two weeks of halloween passing in 2016. UPDATED: Received 15mw 532nm Nano laser from Wicked Lasers from an ebay seller. With protection on it looks like a dollar store laser dot, so I conclude there is protection. I am adding two images. One is of a gray dot(should be green but smartphones try to be smart). That is shining my laser through the glasses from point blank and the wall is 3 feet away from my laser so compare with the mext image of a green light taken a second later without the glasses filtering the beam. WORKS for 532nm guaranteed but will need to test my 450nm laser when it comes in.

Ok so my 450nm laser came in and so did a few 405nm lasers. I have found the ratings for these glasses. 400nm-550nm so do not expect these to protect against orange, red, or IR lasers.

Love love love these glasses! I’ve recently purchased a home laser hair removal and while using it for the first time, I had to look away because the light was too bright for me ( my eyes are sensitive to bring light in general). I’ve started to look for some glasses and I found these ones. They are so good! Now I can do my treatments without hurting my eyes.

Good Blue/Green Blocking Performance

So I got this pair of glasses and another, more expensive set.
This set has perfectly acceptable performance, and allows me to perform laser etching and engraving work with my multi-watt laser safely. They're also rather stylish!
I performed tests on both sets of glasses. Here are the results of this set.

Environmental:
These are not sunglasses. They pass red and lower wavelengths unattenuated, and ruin your color perception.
Everything looks VERY red through these glasses.

Infrared Remote (980nm): Goes straight through. Using an NIR capable "Nightshot" camcorder and an NIR flashlight, I could clearly see the light through these glasses. Not safe for use with IR lasers of any kind.

Red Common Pointer (650nm 1mW): Goes straight through. You could use these to HIGHLIGHT a red laser pointer's dot. DO NOT use these glasses as protection against a high power red laser.

Green "Legal Limit" Pointer (532nm 5mW): Attenuated, but not blocked. Spot is visible through glasses. A direct hit still passes a visible, but noticably attenuated, dot. I wouldn't use these for direct work with a green high power laser, but they'd be fine for bystanders.

Blue Multiwatt Laser (450nm 5W): Good, effective attenuation. No discomfort when performing laser etching or engraving, and can clearly see the focus path for optimal power and clean work. Could probably protect you from a direct hit... once. I don't want to destroy my glasses or my eyeballs, so I'm not going to test this theory.

My daughter and son-in-law told me that they had started using orange blue-blockers in the evening, as well as red or orange lightbulbs in a lamp or two. At first i was a bit skeptical, but after struggling with insomnia for years, I gave it a try. It's quite extraordinary - you start to get quite sleepy within an hour, and as long as you do not re-expose yourself to the computer, cell phone, TV, or lamp without them, you will fall asleep very soon. These particular glasses are red, not orange, and are sort of the "high-test" of blue-blocking glasses. They're dark enough that it's hard to read or watch TV or be on the computer with them, but if it's getting late and you really need to sleep, these do the trick in a very short time. It's a plus that you get a very decent case, as all these glasses can get scratch. Put them in the case; don't leave them lying around.

These goggles block nearly all the GREEN light from my 1000 MW 532 nm laser pen. This allows you to work the dot under 1 FT . away . It blocks more than 99.9 % of the light .Much better than I expected !!!!! As I am a big man any of my glasses fit fine over top of these red laser safety goggles , you don't want to put your glasses on first that would leave gaps all around the edges . No no no no never. Laser light could then shoot in from the sides bypassing the protection of the goggles. Because they are plastic never lay them face down or scratches will appear right in front of your eye and that will suck. Use your case. Because they are plastic it's not a good idea to use them as a wheel chock when working on your pickup truck or to use as a face shield during a paint ball gun fight. Review by HERB THE POWER MAN
