It is cute, soft, but just not the right size! I am a little bummed by this product but I guess it's my fault and so I am giving it a 4/5. It would be nice if the description name has the age limits posted in an easy to see location for people like me that didn't completely look at the specifications of the product. I read about the product and went through some reviews, but it did not stand out to me that this item is for 2-4 year olds. My daughter is 6 yo (and she is tall for her age) and as soon as I took it out of the box I realized it would not be suitable for her. She and I collect ladybugs and so it was going to be perfect for her to sleep in the car comfortably as well as add to her collection :) But unfortunately I am returning this item because I want to buy something that will fit her size.

This owl says ages 2-4 on the tag that comes with it. I specifically asked if this would work on a petite 10 year old and for the most part the answers were yes. While technically it does fit, it's still a bit small. I'd be inclined to say this works up to a petite 8 year old but after that becomes less effective at its job.

Let me say that the fabric is super soft on the blue part. I really like this quality. It feels that the inner fluff might be lacking in quality though, when I squish on it. I wish the filling were more dense. For a 2-4 year old, however, the filling is probably sufficient.

The pillow looks exactly as it does in the picture and is just as cute, if not cuter.

I purchased three of these - the owl, the ladybug and the dog for each of my three kids aged 5, 5 and 2. They're all very comfortable, soft but firm and fit their necks well. The only thing I can nitpick about the owl is that the polka dotted material looks dull and isn't felt like the rest of the neck rests, but in cotton. It's comfortable enough but if I didn't have to use it right away, I would have returned the owl just because it looks and feels so different from the other two. I also have the matching backpacks and luggage with these neck rests, and the kids look darned cute at the airport. They're very possessive about "their stuff" and look forward to packing and traveling.

At first I was not sure I liked this because it seemed too firm and too small. However recently we went on a 3 hour road trip and when my little one fell asleep her head fell to the side so I put this on her and to my surprise the fit was perfect for her little head and the firmness kept her neck from tilting while she slept. I would have given it 5 stars but my daughter did not like it when she was awake but wanted to rest her head on it she could not get comfortable.

This pillow is very cute and soft. It looks just like the picture and it's a perfect size for a child. My only problem is that it is a tad bulky and not squishy enough. Instead of supporting the child's head as they snooze in the car, it looks more like a neck brace. Eventually, she removes it because of the discomfort. So I only gave 4 stars because my 4 year old daughter doesn't use it as much as I would've hoped. Perhaps when she gets older she'll use it more.
