Decent sound, inexpensive, easy to use. The only drawback is the size. It is rather large and takes up a significant amount of space even when disassembled or when fully compressed.* I do worry that it is a bit too delicate for heavy or clumsy use but as long as the user is aware of the build quality and thin plastic used in the construction it should hold up. I would avoid storing it in the sun tho as the thin plastic will certainly break down or get brittle after a few weeks of direct sunlight. I bought this for a parade I was attending, sadly it didn't arrive in time, and planned to keep it in a backpack while not in use bence my comment about the size. It os sort of a pump style air horn in that it is spring loaded and you push the plunger in and stop then push then stop the push for a stuttered "phrenn phrennnn phrennnn" sound. For the price, keep in mind the slow shipping, it is great for events and use where the ambient or event noise is not deafening. I would not reccommend this for music concerts or major sporting events where the crowda get loud enough to shake the venue but for parades, parties, outdoor events, non-professional sporting events, camping, fishing, boating, hiking or ceremonies it is perfect (assuming tbe size is not a manor concern). A word to the wise/user beware: like all air horns and noise makers, those closest to you, unless also making noise, will get annoyed very quickly of you and this obnoxious noise maker especially if you are shorter than them and they get the full blast of the horn straightt to their eats. Use at your own risk but hopefully at a celebratory event or occasion where all are festive and noone minds the horn.
* There is a feature that allows the horn to lock in the fully compressed position keeping it from being sounded and taking up less space. You simply compress it the give it a twist to lock it.
