I received multiple rolls that were nicely packaged in good strong card board box. The actual fabric was wrapped in moving/packing paper each roll taped so no possibility of unraveling. The fabric is very very dark green almost black and shiny. I havent unraveled it more than a few feet so cant tell if the measurement is accurate. I see no mention of what degree or percentage of sun or UV blockage. Ill update as I use it or find any more information.
Update:
Ok so today I unraveled the roll i cut portions and sewed them together to make hanging side shades for our covered RV pad.
The fabric is on the thinner side so its easy to unravel and simple to cut with a plain scissor. I sewed seams to attach pieces together and it was not an issue on my sewing machine just zipped right through it. I attached grommets and that worked like a charm as well.
I'm not sure what degree of shade this cloth provides but I can tell you that the RV pad was in the bright sun as we were hanging the cloth and it was blaring hot. Once we had it appropriately hung we were in the shade and it seemed like it would do the job adequately. Hubby and I both felt that doubling the fabric would have been even better but it would take to much fabric and would be too hard to manuver the fabic in order to double it. I recommend tacking or weighting shade cloth down since it flys around when a slight wind picks up.
