Mary Target, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer in Psychoanalysis at University College London.

Good book. Very dense though and may be difficult to read and understand for people with limited to none psychoanalytic and attachment theory background. Fonagy and collogues help readers conceptualize parental interaction--the good and the bad.

A great book! Not for the casual reader, but if you want to know the very latest in thinking about attachment in human development, you'll get it here. If you're interested in human attachment theory, you'll know what I mean. If you're reading this review and don't know what I mean, try the book, just because you're interested.
