I spent the first six years of my life in Germany, and this year I just really needed some decent marzipan. I've had marzipan since immigrating, but it was just never as good. So I sprang for this staggeringly overpriced box of tiny marzipan bars, sold here at a price which far exceeds the recommended price. Worth it. This is the flavor I remember. This is what I was waiting for. They are moist, soft, and awesome.
While the bars are tiny, they are very rich. This is not a snack you will just sit down and consume in one sitting. It should last you a few days at least.
I researched this product and found a list produced by the company a couple of years ago. This item is listed as gluten free.
I was unable to find a best by date on the package, but the bars do taste fresh.
