Poor: It is a black compost box but it comes apart too easily.

The bottom pieces fall off and are difficult to return to the frame where they belong. The animals in the area have no difficulty getting the panels off and digging into the fresh ingredients added to the composter. It does make compost but it isn't worth the trouble with this particular unit.

I will be disassembling it this week and ordering a new composter of the rolling cylinder type.

I would not recommend this product.

Stay away from this compost bin. It is pretty hard to assemble to start with. It does not stay very stable even when empty. i have it now for 3 months and am desperate to return it back to Amazon. Just waiting to hear back on what is the return process. This bin is going apart even when weather is normal, lets say 70 degrees. Now when we hit 90+ weather this thing fell apart completely. All sides collapsed! This is useless piece of plastic! I would give it ZERO starts if I could!

My husband bought this in the Spring and it has not held up well. Very disappointing for the money it cost. The doors do not latch easily and some of the catches have already broken. It does not hold its shape well when more than a third full and the bottom door does not have enough clearance. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Cold composter. Sides fit together nicely; and took about 5 minutes to put together. But once full of compost, the top does not snap into place. The bin warps under the weight of the compost inside. Also, do not be decieved by the door in the bottom. The kit does not come with a screen to keep everything above it so there is no screened compost at the bottom behind the door. I use the bottom door to shovel bottom compost out and put it back on the top (to make it almost like a hot compost pile). The jury is still out if that's effective or not. I don't want to wait an entire year to find out. It may however become an outdoor vermicoposter since it's not warm enough to kill worms and holds lots of biodegradable material.
