we recently moved onto Vandenberg AFB in CA and so we are now "renting" our house on base. the housing rules are that you can't put a hole bigger than a dime into the walls so these hercules hooks are amazing! you can't even see the hole once they are pulled out. we also bought them cause we have some very heavy decor, i.e.: buffalo skull, wood bear carvings, shelves, etc. and these hercules hooks really live up to their name! one of them is holding a 100lb buffalo skull on the wall without leaving any marks when we take it down! and of course they are super easy to push into the wall! no hammer or screw driver needed.

Work but...2016年1月23日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
They'll do the job but nowhere near as nice as slightly more expensive monkey hooks from Lowes. Not as stout and they flip flop all over the place till you get some weight on them. Monkey hooks stay in place and don't move making it much easier to hang heavy pieces. All in all they work but for the difference about a buck I'll go for the monkey hooks next time.
Strong enough to hang metal basket.2016年1月20日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
The plants and clock don't add much weight but the metal basket is heavy enough on its own. It hung it perfectly. Super easy.
Not as good as other hooks2019年7月2日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
First, they were hard to push through drywall. We thought we hit a stud, but it was just too dull or too thick to push through, had to drill a pilot hole for some. Some were easier to push through than others. After struggling getting the hook into the wall, then the hook just spun around because the arc was incorrect and didn't grab. They didn't appear to have been bent from the ordeal of getting into the wall. The arc is different than the other hooks we already have. Had to pull the hook back out and adjust it so that it would sit properly. The angle of the tip of the hook is also a little different. My old hooks seem to catch better and it was easier to do the actual hanging of the picture with my older hooks. I wish I could remember what I have. I thought they were called Miracle Hooks, but I can't find them anymore. They might also be Monkey hooks.
Where have these been all my life?2017年6月10日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
Where have these hooks been my whole life! Talk about hitting the EASY button! I have already recommended them to a friend who has a lot of pictures to hang in her new apartment. I had limited use for these as most of my walls are plaster. I really enjoyed the ease of use on my sheetrock walls though! So, this is cheaper than buying a box of 100 nails and accompanying anchors, and or screws, and needing the corresponding tools (hammer, drill). There is ZERO noise issue. This is so easy to use! I was done hanging the pictures before the cats had finished their survey of the new project! The hole that will be left in the wall is about the size of the thumbtack hole, and I can cover it easily with a 99 cent putty knife and two dollar jar of spackle. And, I can take my hooks with me and use them in the next apartment! This buy was a win, win, win all accounts!
