All I really want is to shield one of my spare tires from the harsh Nevada sunlight.
This tire cover should fill the bill for a few years.
After reading a few of the reviews on this product, I believe that it will be great for the smaller vehicles that are more likely to use a rim diameter of 15".
The F-250 I drive has an LT235-75R16 and after stretching and tugging on it for over 20 minutes the cover shields the tire from most of the upper portion from sunlight.
The only thing I can say is this will do the job, but in the future, I will look for a cover that is larger size in order to sufficiently protect the entire circumference.
I failed to actually go out and measure the circumference as when I saw the words "Large Universal Spare Tire Cover", I said to myself "That's it, that's the one I need to order."
Having said that, the sunlight with its UV rays will destroy a new tire in a few years that sits outside year in and year out.
A tire cover is a must for a person wishing to keep two spares available for the vast rural outback roads in some areas in this great country.
