This was my first build kit, ans not the last. Being new this beast took me a solidly combined 12 hours (give or take) to finish. This is partly due to the fact this kit has so many small pieces and mechanisms that need care and patiences to put together. While possibly due to my newness to the hobby, one of the fingers broke a tad bit on the hand assembly, but it managed to get placed fine. The only other issues was with a small gold connector that stuck inside a slot and snapped off (noting a little pull and super glue couldn't fix).
After the hours of losing sanity and getting all of these tiny parts together, the Shin Musha came together beautifully. I will note, however, that one more downnside was mine came with two major defects, the biggest being the line running diagnal in his golden chest piece.
When fully assembled, Musha feels pretty sturdy as if he was factory assembled. He looks sweet and is easy enough to pose, if it doesn't involve his hands. His fingers are probably the worst part of this kit, as they are hard to get to stay in place and are made of very light-weight plastic. This is a problem because he comes with 4 awesome weapons.
Overall, this original Shin Musha (which has the best coloring of the two versions) is sturdy and well-designed, minus a few defects and flimsy pieces. Highly recommended.
