If you take a look at the attached picture it shows how utterly worthless the bristles on this brush are. That's after 2 minutes of use. The other three brushes in the shot have each been used for 5 a minimum of hours of painting or more. I'm not sure what this travesty's bristles are made from, but it's definitely not sable.
In addition to the worthless bristles, the crimp on the brush is low quality. It's not the standard rounded crimp the Cotman has nor the rounded crimp the Winsor Newton professional brushes have in pictures on the Winsor Newton web site.
When I filed a return because I wasn't shipped the advertised product, Amazon was great about refunding my money and didn't even make go through the hassle of returning this piece of garbage. Amazon is awesome, this product sucks. I recommend anyone else who receives one of the fake brushes return it like I did.
All I've done to it is gently wash out the sizing. Haven't even used it. There is no point.
Even wet, there is no point.
