After open up the set, I found the compass cannot close precisely together, as shown by the photos.
I am disappointed because
(1) this should not happen open-the-box without any usage. The package is intact so how did it pass Rotring's quality check?
(2) this is a $37.99 set, "made in Germany", not a cheap lower end product.
(3) there's no easy way to fix it on the customer's end.
