I have a computer & I like to tinker but it's kinda' dark in there. So I've tried a number ways to light it but most didn't work very well. Looking at the motherboard manual I noticed it has 3 USB headers. Checking amazon I found this "USB Motherboard Header Adapter" for $3.99 [price has increased to $6.07?]. I already had a couple of USB-powered LED light strips so I pluged the short one into the adapter, plugged the adapter into the USB header on the motherboard & now I have a great light inside my computer. The light strip even has a switch to turn it on & off. I'll try to photo it as soon as I get thru swapping some drives around.
I'm disappointed to see the price jump up so much but other than that this thing has been the answer to my computer tinkering in the dark problem & it was so simple w/ the adapter.
