Pass of these - this is one more example of a once good product being replaced with absolute junk!
I've had my gloves two weeks, have worn them handling boxes for about 40 hours, and the last 1/4" of several of the fingers have already begun to show severe signs of wear (one actually has a slight tear).
The wrist closure is very poorly designed, velcro would have done much better (though it probably would have cost a few pennies extra in manufacturing).
The length of the glove beyond the wrist seems odd -- too long to really be comfortable, two short to really offer any protection; in fact the only reason I can see for the chosen length would be to make the closure style of the glove work reasonably well...
And the really sad thing -- this morning I washed them on "hand cycle" in a high efficiency front load agitator less washing machine, and a large number of the seams now look as though they will rip open when I put them on my hands next (from the materials listed in the description there should be no issue with washing the gloves -- not sure I'd put them in the dryer).
For me, it's seems like a much better "buy" to recycle my old cycling and workout gloves (they are much better made, and even "tattered" after a season of riding they're in better shape than these gloves are after two weeks).
My advice, choose something else.
Wells Lamont has changed where or how they manufacture these gloves. To put it simply, the 836L that I purchased from Amazon in Jan 2016 weighs twice as much as this pair that arrived in Nov 2016 (3oz vs 1.6oz). Less material means less quality.
William Orson Wells must be rolling over in his grave now. I can only hope that Wells Lamont will end their experiment in cost cutting. I must look elsewhere. I am a professional truck driver and use these as driving gloves.
If anyone has the earlier model that weighs 3oz contact me I will buy a half dozen.
