It does what it says, and I'm assuming it's accurate - I don't have the tools to check it. For that at least it gets an "ok."
What I don't like is the cheap cheap cheap build quality. The number plate surround immediately popped loose, the battery cover got a crack in it when I took it off, and it is very large but very light. As if there was nothing in it. Took the case off, and... yep. This thing could have been 1/5th the size.
I also don't like that it says I can record with it, but that required also getting a $70 cord + software combo. Well, just the cord, because the software was so awful I ended up just using a serial port terminal to manually log the data. Also, it only records the data at a pitiful 1Hz.
So, yep, it's a sound meter, and yes, it can record, but I expected better for a $200+ device.

Great meter for the price
One way it could be better.2009年9月14日 - 已在美国亚马逊上发表
Meter works as expected. I wish that it would hold the "fast" vs. "slow" setting on power-off like it holds the scale setting and other settings (it always resets to "fast" on power-off). I expect most users perform the majority of tests on the same settings, and it makes testing more error-prone to have some settings retained and others not.
