Works like a charm. Remember to fold the short handled side over the long handled side and hold together to flip. My roommate and I loved using this to make snacks when we got the munchies in college. We'd saute the veggies in one side of the pan, add cheese, then eggs to the rim, close cover, wait awhile then flip.

I di'dnt want to expend too much money buying something to try if it works for a few time....But it gave me a surprise, a big one....I had one old omelet pan that broke all records for a very long time and suddenly started to shows its age....I wanted any other to replace that good one but prices got crazy with this kind of pan, so I bought this nonstick (because of its low price) to get a try in the time I cook a nice "tortilla" at all my style....Surprise....!...It is good looking (all black), strong, easy to manage, keep the flavors, the heat spreads evenly, big enough to cook a good mix, and, besides some more qualifications (I'm not getting paid for this review), is the cheapets I found in the market....If its performance changes, I'll let you know....

I've seen a few reviews which state the eggs run out the sides when flipping the pan. The trick to solving this is to allow the eggs to cook longer on the side of the pan your going to flip. I keep that side of the pan on the burner till the eggs are almost fully cooked but still slightly loose. If you like your eggs well done the pan can be flipped once again to avoid over cooking on one side. Make sure both sides of pan are well oiled. I use 4 eggs & every omelette has been perfect. The handle comes detached. It took about 30 seconds to attach. If you want a good omelet don't use high heat. It's not like making scrambled eggs. This pan works exactly like any other flip omelet pan I've used. Medium heat pre warm on large burner. Light spray oil. 4 scrambled eggs (with a little salt) half in each side. Wait 3 min until eggs begin to firm then add precooked fillers ( I'm a big fan of mushrooms cheese and ham). Wait two more min then flip and turn off burner. Wait 2 min flip whole pan wait 2 min then serve. The whole process takes 10 or less. NOTE: times and temp setting vary from stove to stove.

We used this pan three times on our induction stovetop. Although the first time it heated fine, we noticed that the hinges "sparked." On the third use, I lifted the pan by the handle, and both hinges just fell apart, with the hinged section clattering down to the stove. Startling to say the least. The pictures show the end result. We threw it away. A total waste of our money. Not worth it to return.
