I used this on my Epson 2200 which just wouldn't feed consistently anymore. With only 1 run it solved the problem but I did 3 just to be safe. If you buy this be sure to keep the release paper and use a single sheet several times. I would suggest 5-7 runs would be acceptable unless your rollers are wicked dirty. The price is ridiculous but it does the job and it's really the only viable (quick) option.

My printer, An Epson Stylist Photo R2400, has been a fantastic work horse for printing amazing exhibition-quality prints. Due to an extended move, it has not been operated for some time, and got some dust inside. The result was, the paper would feed, but the printer could not see it, and thus, assumed a miss-feed. I contacted Epson for help. I figured it was probably just a dirty sensor, but where was it, and how could I find it? The printer, of course, is WAY WAY past its warranty. Well, they suggested I use this "printer cleaning sheet."

I was dubious, but what the heck, buying a new printer would be $600 or more. I purchased this item, and loaded it into the printer. It loaded properly. What? And ejected properly. No blinking red lights. And no visible dirt on the sticky sheet, either. What the...? It can't be fixed already, can it? Sure enough, everything is now working fine! The repair was cheap and so easy it took me by surprise.

So, if you are having trouble with dirty sensors, this is one amazing simple solution!

Not great for Hewlett Packard printers

I bought this for an H.P. Officejet 6700 because I couldn't find any similar products for HP's. It sort of worked, but I really didn't notice much of a difference in the amount of smudging on my RSVP envelopes. I fed one of the Epson pieces of paper into the printer every which way a number of times (notched edge facing in, out, top, bottom). It got stuck a couple of times because it is actually sticky on the side facing down (it has to face down in an Officejet tray because it prints on the opposite side). And some black smudging did show up on the Epson paper. But the smudges kept occurring on my envelopes after that, so...... Those envelopes are very small (3.25" x 5.25") and next to impossible to print on an Officejet, but because I have an Apple computer, I was able to program the size of the envelopes properly, which was very helpful in feeding them into the printer. I had to put a post-it note across the top of the envelope or it would get snagged.

Before trying to figure out how to find repair services that wouldn't cost more than a new printer, I tried these cleaning sheets. My printer was suddenly not grabbing the paper, and when it did, it just fed it it through without printing anything. So even though I couldn't find any clues anywhere online for an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Series printer, I bought these and fed a sheet through a couple times each side. I did it that way because the documentation/instructions suck. Anyway, I could barely see any dirt or dust on the sheet at all. But it apparently doesn't take much to fool whatever sensor tells the printer to print, because the printer is back to normal now. So I'm a happy camper.
