Only read 1/2 the book

My 6 year old daughter was flipping thought the book while I was getting ready to sit down and read it to her....We were almost 1/2 way thought the book before the "mystery" is mentioned...its a lost tiara, which really isn't a mystery. My daughter and I experience such a mystery often when we get to play the game..."I can't find my keys, can you help me look" :) But, back to the book. Once it was announce that the tiara was missing, my daughter responded, "its on the head of the statue of the king"....what? Sure enough, flipping through the book, there's a picture of a statue of the king with the tiara. The book started out so slow, recaping the Cinderalla movie, Cinderalla adjusting to being a princess, not a maid, the news of the Prince's Grandmama coming, Cinderalla working in the garden, trying on new dresses, none of these had anything to do with the "missing tiara". We have read other books in this series and I have read these chapter books to my 6 year old straight through because she can't wait to find out what happens next. Save you money on this one.

I sent a bunch of the Disney Princess chapter books to a beloved six-year old in our circle. Upon delivery, the young recipient loudly declared: "This is the best day of my entire life!" (That Cinderella is one impressive gal.)

Well, I guess it doesn't get much better than that! If you are looking for some really pretty books with sweet stories for your Princess-loving girl, these are the chapter-books to buy! The stories and vocabulary are stimulating, and the illustrations are well... DISNEY. What more could I add? Highly recommended!

I bought this for an almost four year old as a way to introduce her to chapter books. We read a chapter or two a night and with her favorite characters it is a hit! I bought 4 others for her and I'm glad to have her into reading these types of books! I'm going to introduce new chapter books and characters when we finish these 5

We recently discovered these short chapter books at a book fair. My daughter LOVES them! She's usually so hyper at night when it gets to be bed time, but these have really calmed her down. There aren't very many pictures, so she really has to listen to the story and create the image in her mind. I love the time that we have together when reading these!

I liked it because Cinderella and grandmama both played a trick on each other. It was funny when grandma's found out Cinderella had mice friends. The end is really good. I don't want to spoil the ending.
