平均5.0 星 Everyone should read this book! 2013年4月28日

I stumbled across this book by doing a Google search on the phrase: love and fear cannot occupy the same space. I had never heard of OSHO but after reading the excerpt provided on line, I immediately ordered this book. After reading it in a few days, I ordered five more copies to give to friends. The concepts are written in plain language, and in spite of the fact that he was an Indian philosopher from a different generation, they get right to the point of what makes human beings afraid and how we can overcome the fear. I highly recommend this book to anyone who ever wondered why we all are so afraid of ourselves.

平均3.0 星 A difficult subject explored 2012年12月3日

As an old student of osho back in the day I was interested to read this collection of his talks on the subject. It has a certain directness and is of its time. He was always a poet and loved telling stories but the overall impression is that whilst it is an introduction and may help some people, it doesn't really get to the heart of why fear is such a problem for us in the west. Osho was a genius and I am forever grateful to him, but he is a romantic and he lived in the safe sanctuary of the east with adoring disciples. How can he really teach us in the west, when his own understanding was limited by his eastern values and conditioning? He was bound by the limitation of his students who for the most part wanted to party and were full of hope. We were all so much more niave and innocent then.

平均5.0 星 The truth in Oshos words cuts like the sharpest knife 2014年12月3日

A must read for all who seek some answers to a very common problem for most of us. The truth in Oshos words cuts like the sharpest knife, and it is that fact tha make his teachings so appealing. Instinctively, and in a very deep, and mysterious sense we all seek the truth within us, so when we find it in one or other way we immediately know it because it resonates deep down to our core of our being". Incredibly fascinating reading.

平均5.0 星 Amazing! As transformative as it gets. 2015年3月16日

Osho, as usual, can cut through your stuff and get right to the core. Stating, time and again, truths that are impossible to argue with. The very energy of his words cause a deep transformation that continues to work on you long after the words have been forgotten. A must read for everyone.

平均3.0 星 The Lover in its Fullness 2014年8月13日
评论者 Nicolas Viens - 已在美国亚马逊上发表

Not a bad book. The writing style is a bit childish (the author keeps repeating himself on different occasions as a way to make you understand well, but it feels like an adult trying to explain things to a kid..)

Osho does bring multiple valuable truths about what Fear really is, but hiw view of Life is quite drastic. The book basically tells you to drop all fears and live to the fullest (trully inspirationnal) and to enjoy only the present in every moment (from making love to looking at a flower, etc), but a bit too much, as thinking about the future and having ambition in life is not appreciating the present.

If you have read about the Jungian theory of the four masculine archétypes (King, Warrior, Magician, Lover), well Osho could be the definition of the Lover in its fullness. So it is a good book, but quite hard to agree on everything.
