书比我期望的要好，体积算是pocket尺寸，便于携带，字大小合适，印刷很清楚，版权是86年的，但书是近些年出的。印装和我的小韦氏一样：胶有点薄，书脊上会有折痕，但很牢靠，不至于掉页；纸有点黑，像报纸，但是很多卖100多的当代小说也是这样的。这本书在亚马逊网站上好评如潮，没发现有那么多抱怨。总之以这个价钱买到全本的原版福尔摩斯，我很满意。福尔摩斯所有的故事都有电影和电视剧，我最近还发现BBC的广播剧也很不错，这些节目都做得都很精致，值得仔细欣赏。我现在已经精读过一本小说了，希望用这本进行泛读，现摘抄一段陆佩弦老先生回忆学习英语经过的故事以共勉：“在中学最后一年中，自己还看完了一厚本一千几百页的Conan Doyle所作 Complete Sherlock Holmes(《福尔摩斯侦探案全集》)。我在看这许多侦探小说的时候，绝未想到要提高英语实践水平，而只是被故事的情节所吸引，好奇心使我在未知作案人是淮之前，放不下书本而已。在阅读过程中，一页上可能遇到四五个，或多至六七个生词或一时不完全理解的词组，但往往因急于阅读下去，根据上下文猜猜就算数，除非是与了解内容有密切关系的词，否则是不去麻烦词典的。这种较大量的课外泛读，对提高英语水平实在是太重要了。我现在再翻翻Conan Doyle的作品，觉得虽然艺术价值不高，但文笔清顺流畅，对话不像有些作家那样为了对角色刻意描绘用了许多不规范的语言，而是用一般正常的语言，即所谓common core；再加上词汇有相当好的社会生活基础。这几点使这本书成为自学英国语文的好材料之一。还有一个妙处，它是以引人入胜的情节为糖衣，使比较艰难的语文这颗药丸极易吞服。”

一本真正的福尔摩斯全集！,

该书分为1、2两卷，共收录60篇福尔摩斯侦探故事。 包括56部短篇和4部长篇 （即血渍的研究、四签名、恐怖谷和巴斯克韦尔庄园的猎犬）。 该书采用再生纸印刷*，并制成小开本， 非常轻便，易于携带。 是一本非常好的全英文原版读本！ *注：国外原版读物多采用再生纸印刷， （质地有些像报纸纸张） 既经济又环保（国外很看重环保）。 如果您看惯了国内出版物， 初看该书可能会不太习惯， 不过只是时间问题。 毕竟环保人人有责吗！

我觉得还是很值de说~~字有点密，没有插图，但是印刷得很清楚，纸质也不错 如果是提高英语的话，单纯作扩充读物绝对值得购买，福尔摩斯和其他的原文书比起来还是比较简单的~读起来没那么抓狂 8过8过~如果是用作收藏的话，就不推荐了
